Ray Tracing On Selected Faces Only

Please find the Ray Tracing steps for single surfaces bellow:


  1. In your EASE 5-FE Main Window, click on Ray Tracing (via Calculations Tap)
  2. In the Ray Tracing Window click on Rays and then on Ray Tracing

  3. Then select your Loudspeaker, Order = 1 and for example 1000 Rays and Make Trace File

  4. Save the Trace File
  5. Please don't close the "View Trace File Window"
  6. In the "View Project Window" activate the Faces you wish to analyse (right click on them and select "Activate")
  7. Then go back to the Ray Tracing Window and under Item select "Use only selected Faces" and click on "No" for the Pop-up message.
  8. In the "View Trace File Window" now click on "Draw all Rays" and image similar to the one bellow will be drawn.
